Star Light, Star Bright Perfume Oil

As it sits on my skin for a while, it somehow reminds me of the KAFFEREP dessert from IKEA. I wish this scent was stronger but it has more of an intimate projection.

It’s a warm, airy vanilla with a bit of bright fruit upon first sniff. It’s a bit artificial in the initial application—think vanilla extract that drowns out all the other notes. The magic comes out in the dry down when it warms up with your skin… a hint of mango, spiced vanilla, coconut, and woods. It’s subtle, but the small whiffs I catch are divine. Reminds me of spun sugar with just how light it is.

Easily a #2 fragrance from this brand for me, behind Lovers Lane. Beyond being so well blended, I think the dry down and experience of each fragrance is something to talk about. This opens as a dark mango, the bourbon and brown sugar are not hiding but the jasmine and mango keep it from being a typical gourmand. It’s somehow a deep and bright scent. I would compare the opening notes to Phlurs mango mood. The dry down is what’s most divine, the amber and sandalwood steal the show, so warm and sexy. I believe the tonka and jasmine added to that, is what makes the dry down smell like Phlurs Amber haze, which is a holy grail body mist for me. The projection is moderate. The longevity is amazing, 6+ hours before wearing down.

In love! Smells so good, reminds me a little of mod vanilla … but better, probably will be my everyday scent for a while. I need this and figgy pie as a parfum spray 🤷🏾‍♀️ asap lol
